Following my self designed comprehensive high raw whole food cleanse I decided to invest in some extra insurance and re-mineralize myself with 2 essential macro nutrients and electrolytes, calcium and magnesium. The first supplement I tested for 3 months is a Calcium Magnesium Citrate and Malate formula.
Pay attention to the last three letters of citrate and malate. This is the single most important distinction to make when choosing what calcium or magnesium supplement to buy. Make sure the supplement contains the mineral form ending in “ate” This will guarantee you the most bioavailable minerals which means you will absorb and utilize them easier than other formulas that contain the mineral form ending in “ide” as an example.

My High Raw Whole Foods diet is high in both calcium and magnesium rich foods so I want to test this supplement at half dose which is one 200 mg tablet daily instead of the recommended two tablets or 400 mg daily. 400 mg is 100% of your DV so I’m getting 50% or half of my DV.
