Maui Neurosomatic Intelligence Systems Of Relaxation And Bliss
Wow! We’ve been living on Maui for almost 5 months now and as I sit here at 9:47 P.M HST this cool evening (around 55 degrees Fahrenheit) at 3,000 ft above sea level part way up Mt. Haleakala (10,000 ft) and 4 days away from the full moon I would like you to appreciate the fact that you are able to do far more than you think. I wonder how it would feel to just allow yourself to open to the possibility that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
That’s how we got back to Maui to live for the second time in our lives. And our change in physical location has prompted lots of rapid marvelous changes on the neurosomatic level. Right now Jay and I are in our third month of avoiding all grains (yes, even gluten free) and all beans, dried peas and lentils. We feel so good that we plan to continue our new culinary delight. We’re even maintaining a regular fitness routine of qigong, yoga and toning plus cardio.
Found the farmer’s market nearby and the picture above was the meal I made when we got home Saturday. I was so excited to have all this local farm fresh organic raw produce that I decided to make another one of my famous Savor Your Life Salads. This time I went for maximum ingredients I had on hand. Savor Your Life Salads are the mainstay of our diet. Here’s the ingredient list for my 25 organic ingredient mostly raw one plate meal:
- Romaine Lettuce
- Red Russian Kale
- Dandelion Leaf
- Sugar Snap Peas
- Sunflower Seeds
- Pumpkin Seeds
- Pasture based Farm Fresh hard boiled Eggs
- Boiled skinless boneless Chicken Breast
- Pepper Jack Cheese (made with pasteurized milk)
- Celtic Sea Salt
- Raisin water (soak water from raisins)
- Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Squeezed Lemon juice (Fresh Meyer Lemons from the yard! One reason I love Maui.)
- Mustard ( 4 ingredients in mustard not on my list follow below)
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Mustard Seeds
So that’s my Savor Your Life Salad for Saturday’s meal. I wonder how it feels when you imagine coming to Maui, eating some delicious organic local food and experiencing Neurosomatic Intelligence Systems for Relaxation and Bliss.
Once you begin to eat whole fresh organic foods, you know, you’ll begin to feel and think better. How quickly can you really enjoy getting in touch with that idea and with that sense of your own potential and your own power. Isn’t it nice to know you know someone on Maui who knows how to let you know what you need to know to feel so good and vital and alive in every way. Just so you know what I know you already know.
